As part of Black History Month, WMUR is showcasing spots people can visit along the Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire.At the Welch Family Farm and Forest in Hancock, people can learn about James Due, his family and their friend Jack.Jack was reportedly captured in Africa and was enslaved as a child before gaining his freedom.He lived in Hancock in the late 1700s and early 1800s.The Due family was identified in early censuses as "free people of color.">> Download the free WMUR app to get updates on the go: Apple | Google Play <<
