Bruins draft center with first round pick acquired in Linus Ullmark trade
The Boston Bruins picked 25th in the NHL Draft and went with Dean Letourneau from St. Andrews College, a prep school in Ontario.
The 6-foot and 7-inch tall center will play at Boston College next season.
The B's got this pick from the Ottawa Senators in the Linus Ullmark trade.
Later in the draft, the B's traded forward Jakub Lauko and the 122nd pick in the draft to the Minnesota Wild for forward Vinni Lettieri and the 110th pick, which Boston used to select defenseman Elliot Groenewold, a Vermont native who will play for Quinnipiac this coming college season.
In the fifth round, the Bruins drafted Jonathan Morello, a center from St. Michaels College.
Boston spent its final draft pick on Loke Johansson, a defenseman from Sweden. He was taken in the sixth round.
