Meteorologist

Hey Tri-state area!

I am so excited to be a part of the WLWT weather team. I was raised in Indiana and growing up out in the country gave me a perfect area for watching an entire life cycle of storms which sparked my interest for weather from a young age!

My passion for weather only grew more through college at Ball State University where I was able to get first-hand experience forecasting and chasing supercells and tornadoes all across the Great Plains. I graduated with my atmospheric sciences degree in 2015.

Soon after, I made my way down south to work as a weekend meteorologist in Louisiana! After nearly two years there, I moved to Lexington, Kentucky to work as a weekend meteorologist.

During my 5 years at Kentucky, I’ve covered it all! From being sent to Florida and North Carolina to cover hurricanes, to historic floods across eastern Kentucky, and the December Tornado Outbreak. In 2021 for my coverage on-air leading up to the historic flooding, I was awarded ‘Best Weathercast’ by the Kentucky Broadcasters Association (KBA). In 2020 I was also awarded ‘Best Meteorologist’ by the KBA.

For the past several years visiting the area I’ve fallen in love with the Queen City and I’m excited to call it home! When I’m not tracking the weather, I enjoy doing anything that gets me outdoors. I love playing disc golf, biking, and baseball, so if you ever see me out and about don’t hesitate to say hi!
