Mike has been in the TV business for more than 30 years. Prior to his stint in Seattle, Mike worked in Philadelphia for 10 years, and at other stations in New York and Pennsylvania before that.

Mike is an Emmy Award winning anchor. He has also been honored with multiple Emmy Awards for his reporting and work on special projects. He and co-anchor Sheree Paolello were awarded an Edward R. Mike has field anchored at conventions for both major political parties as well as presidential inaugurations.

Before moving to news in 2000, Mike was a sportscaster in Philadelphia where he hosted Major League Baseball pre-game shows, the Eagles coach's show for several years and did sideline reporting during pre-season NFL games.

He was twice named AP Sportscaster of the year in the State of Pennsylvania.
