WLWT News 5 TODAY Meteorologist

Hey, everyone! Thanks for turning to WLWT for your certified most accurate forecast. I’ve been your source for Cincinnati’s weather first thing in the morning since 2007!

I was born and raised in Mentor, Ohio, just outside Cleveland. But I’ve spent nearly two decades in this part of the state and Cincinnati has truly become my hometown. I live in Loveland with my husband and two kids. We’re always out at a sporting event, concert or festival. I’m a huge Reds fan. If there’s one big perk of waking up at 2AM for work it is catching a 12:35PM first pitch at GABP. My favorite broadcast of the year is Opening Day!

I went to Ohio University to study broadcast news and meteorology... and to play outfield for the Ohio Bobcats softball team. My career started at WCBI in Columbus, Mississippi. I’ve also worked just up the road at WDTN in Dayton. I am proud to hold both the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association's Seals of Approval.

I’ve covered every type of weather from the typical Cincinnati temperature changes to extreme and historic events. I will always remember being on the ground before the sun came up to uncover the damage of the Dayton Memorial Day tornadoes in 2019. I’ve covered the Ohio River flooding into the Banks, the Hurricane Ike windstorm…and plenty of snow!

I’ve had the opportunity to do some crazy things over the years at WLWT. I’ve gone to NYC to do weather with Al on the Today Show, swam with the sharks at the Newport Aquarium, repelled off hotels downtown, competed against Joey Chestnut eating brats at Oktoberfest, splashed down on the American Ninja Warrior course…and accidentally kicked over Slash’s guitar during a backstage interview at a rock festival. I’ve also been honored to help out with several local non-profits like the Cure Starts Now and the Dragonfly Foundation.

If you see me around town at a brewery or a ballgame, please say hi!
