THE SWEET SHOP PARTNERED WITH WLWT AND MERLIN AFTER RAISING PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THE FIRST COLLECTIBLE ROOKWOOD POTTERY ORNAMENT. MERLIN WAS A PARTNER IN THE FUNDRAISER EFFORTS, AND PART OF THE PROCEEDS WERE ALSO FROM CONEY ISLAND’S LAST NIGHT OF LIGHTS EVENT. CHIP GREATER SAYS THAT THE IMPACT GETS BIGGER EVERY YEAR. Graeter's Ice Cream announced a $30,000 donation to the Ruth Lyons Children's Fund on Thursday.

Representatives with the company stopped by WLWT on Thursday to present the check.

The sweet shop partnered with WLWT and Moerlein after raising proceeds from the sale of the first "Collectable Rookwood Pottery Ornament."
