This past week, America took what many believe is a giant step forward in the fight against COVID-19 as the CDC approved a new, lower-dose vaccine for children ages 5 to 11.
The Department of Health says there are now nearly 1 million more children in Ohio alone, who are eligible for the vaccine.
This is not a vaccine mandate, but it is a topic that we know is on the minds of all parents today. And while the CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics support vaccinating children to protect them from the most serious effects of COVID-19, we believe parents need to be in the driver's seat as they weigh this very important decision. We also believe it is critically important to approach this decision from an objective and educated point of view as there is so much misinformation circulating on this topic.
