Cincinnati's Burger Week is rapidly approaching; the long-awaited 10-day event that burger fanatics from far and wide come together to appreciate a juicy hamburger and a nicely-paired cocktail to make a hearty meal. July 15 kicks off the start of Burger Week and lasts until the 24th. The 2024 celebration marks a decade-long of Cincinnati burger appreciators. The high point of the event is that people can enjoy burgers from over 100 Cincinnati restaurants for a $7 deal. The burger festivities begin at the Official Cincinnati Burger Week Kick Off Event at Samuel Adams Taproom in Over-the-Rhine, 1727 Logan St., July 10 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Guests can indulge in the official beer of Burger Week, the Sam Adams American Light, for $4, and try the Taproom's burger, the West End, which consists of cheese, pickles, red onions, bacon and spicy BBQ. Sam Adams will also have free swag, a chance to win prizes, socialize with fellow burger lovers, listen to live music on the patio and rack up points in the Burger Week App, prior to the official kickoff week. Hoxworth Blood Center, one of Burger Week's sponsors — along with Sam Adams, Bulleit Frontier Whiskey, Kentucky Cattlemen's Ground Beef, CityBeat Events and Decal Impressions — is giving people the opportunity to earn points by donating blood. To get all things Burger Week information, the Cincinnati Burger Week app has it all. People can also earn points when they eat burgers and document it on the app — those points turn into more chances to wine prizes. Users have the opportunity to enter for a chance to win Gold Star burgers for a year. For every burger eaten and sponsored drink, Sam Adams or Bulleit Whiskey, order and shared on the app, the more points users can earn. There are two ways to score prizes: · Users must check in at five or more locations during the week and they will automatically be entered to win a grand prize of $500 in participating restaurant gift cards and more. · Users can also earn points for dining out and enjoying the Sam Adams beer and Bulleit Whiskey cocktail specials.
