OUR KYRON NEVEAUX STOPPED BY THE SAVANNAH CIVIC CENTER TODAY - TO GET A LOOK AT THE TURNOUT ON THIS LAST SUNDAY OF EARLY VOTING. LL INTRO KY: "AS GEORGIA GOES INTO WEEK THREE OF EARLY VOTING FOR THE UPCOMING MIDTERM ELECTION, CHATHAM COUNTY RESIDENTS ARE COMING OUT TO CAST THEIR VOTES. THE SAVANNAH CIVIC CENTER SERVING AS ONE OF TWO SITES IN CHATHAM COUNTY TO HOST EARLY VOTING SUNDAY. LOTS OF PEOPLE TURNED OUT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE OPTION AND THOSE WE SPOKE TO SAY IT WAS A BREEZE. SOT- ELIZABETH SAMSON AND SCOTT SMITH "IT WAS A DELIGHT; IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN EASIER. IT WAS SO EASY.. IT HAS BEEN IN AND OUT.. WE ONLY HAVE BEEN HERE 20 MINUTES. SINCE WE GOT HERE AND NOW WE ARE OUT." ELIZABETH SAMSON AND SCOTT SMITH ARE NEW TO CHATHAM COUNTY AFTER MOVING FROM LOS ANGELES, THEY SAY THE VOTING EXPERIENCE IS NO DIFFERENT IN THE HOSTESS CITY. Early voting continues in Chatham County.

Georgia continues to see a record breaking turnout of early voters. The Savannah Civic Center was one of two Chatham County sites to offer Sunday early voting. People did not hesitate to take advantage. Residents who submitted their ballot Sunday told WJCL 22 the process took them around 20 minutes from the time they arrived until the time they got back to their cars. “It was a delight; it could not have been easier. It was so easy. It has been in and out. We only have been here 20 minutes," said Chatham county residents Elizabeth Samson and Scott Smith.
