The third annual Pooler Juneteenth festival took place on Saturday at the Tanger Outlets. The festival lasted from 2 to 7 p.m.Live music, shopping vendors, and food trucks commemorated the day slaves in Texas were notified of their freedom. Joe Biden signed a bill making Juneteenth a holiday in 2021.Many people will celebrate Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, through the official holiday on Wednesday, June 19.

The third annual Pooler Juneteenth festival took place on Saturday at the Tanger Outlets.
