Planet Fitness planning to open a Pooler location

For Pooler residents, the nearest Planet Fitness is either in Savannah or Rincon. No matter the location of choice, it's nearly a 20-minute commute during no-traffic hours.Planet Fitness has exclusively confirmed to WJCL 22 News that they are working on opening a location in Pooler; their statement is below."We can confirm that a Planet Fitness club location will open in Pooler, GA, in 2024. Please note we can’t confirm an estimated opening date at this time as the club could open earlier in the year, or the opening may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances such as construction delays or other."Community members can monitor planetfitness.com for updates.
