A 19-year-old suspect has been charged with murder following a deadly shooting in Savannah.

According to the Savannah Police Department, Dawontay Williams was taken into custody Monday in connection with the Sunday shooting that claimed the life of a 16-year-old victim.
It happened at 49th and Florance streets.
Williams is charged with murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
