Bomb squad called to beach after Hurricane Matthew uncovered several Civil War cannonballs

Local law enforcement and U.S. Air Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians were called to Folly Beach to remove 16 unexploded munitions Sunday after Hurricane Matthew passed through the area. The ordnance, believed to be Civil War-era cannonballs were uncovered by Matthew's strong winds. The cannonballs were moved to a safe location without incident.
