Jonathan O’Callaghan is a freelance space journalist based in the UK who covers astronomy, astrophysics, commercial spaceflight, and space exploration. His work has appeared in more than a dozen outlets including The New York Times, Scientific American, and New Scientist. Occasionally seen on TV and radio for the BBC and elsewhere, Jonathan has been nominated for multiple awards, including British Science Journalist of the Year, and is a prior recipient of the American Geophysical Union’s Walter Sullivan Award for Excellence in Science Journalism, Features. He has two children, enjoys running and cycling, and is a long-suffering Tottenham Hotspur supporter.
