Previously, Meredith served as anchor/reporter at WPBF-TV, WESH 2’s sister station in West Palm Beach. She covered several high-profile national stories, including Tropical Storm Fay, Bernie Madoff’s Ponzi scheme, and the Thanksgiving Day manhunt for accused killer Paul Michael Merhige.

Meredith began her broadcasting career as an anchor/reporter at WATM/WWCP-TV, the FOX/ABC affiliates in Johnstown, Pa. One of her most memorable stories detailed the fifth anniversary of the September 11th Flight 93 plane crash in Shanksville, Pa. More recently, she and WESH 2 News co-anchor Jason Guy anchored breaking coverage of a high-speed car chase which led to an Associated Press award and Emmy award. The live coverage unfolded over 40 minutes and came to an end when the suspect T-boned another vehicle at an intersection.

Meredith graduated cum laude from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa., majoring in communications and minoring in political science. She was honored with the prestigious Wakefield Prize for excellence in mass communications. She also captained her college basketball team and eclipsed 1,000 points on senior night, as her whole family cheered her on in the stands.

A post-graduate internship at Fox News Channel in New York confirmed her passion for telling news stories, and she has since continued the pursuit of her childhood dream.

Meredith hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and cheers for the Steelers and Penguins. But she now calls central Florida home. She enjoys golfing and Orlando Magic games with her husband.
