Kellianne Klass

Kellianne Klass is the Weekday Morning Meteorologist on WESH 2 News Sunrise. Kellianne joined the First Warning Weather Team in July 2020 from Lubbock, Texas where she was the Weekday Morning and Midday Meteorologist on KAMC News. While in Texas, she forecasted and covered tornadoes, hail events, record snow, ice events, flooding, and much more. Not only was she in the studio covering severe weather events, but also out in the field storm chasing.  

 She worked closely with the National Weather Service to produce educational reports on hazardous weather events across Texas advising viewers on better preparations. Her effort was recognized by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and was named a Weather Ready Nation Ambassador of Excellence in 2018.  

 Originally from Eastern Pennsylvania, Kellianne graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences. While there, she freelanced as an on-air meteorologist at WHTM in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She is also a member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association.
