Cam Tran

Meteorologist Cam Tran forecasts for WESH 2 News at Noon and 4PM.

Cam joined the First Warning Weather team in March 2021 after four years at WESH’s sister station WTAE in Pittsburgh, PA.

Prior to Pittsburgh, Cam was the evening meteorologist at AccuWeather.

Cam is no stranger to forecasting hurricanes and tropical weather, she spent several years as a meteorologist at KITV in Honolulu, HI.

Before switching to weather full-time, she was a news anchor and reporter in Portland, ME and Abilene, TX.

Cam earned a Certificate of Meteorology from Mississippi State University and a journalism degree from University of Texas.

She’s also a member of the National Weather Association and Asian American Journalists Association.

When not at work, Cam enjoys soaking in Florida’s sunshine and being outside as much as possible.
