NWSL GO HEAD TO HEAD. THE DREAM FACTORY MAKES ANOTHER DREAM COME TRUE, BUT THEY HAVE NEVER HAD A REQUEST LIKE THIS ONE. LEN JENNINGS HAS THE STORY OF A CHILD’S DREAM. THAT’S FOR EVERYONE. THREE. TWO. ONE. JACOB MANNS GREENHOUSE IS OFFICIALLY OPEN, FILLED WITH EXOTIC PLANTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD AND FRUITS AND VEGETABLES. ONE DAY HE WAS LIKE, I WANT A GREENHOUSE. I WANT A PLACE TO HOUSE ALL THESE PLANTS SO I CAN HAVE STUFF FROM AROUND THE WORLD. YOU KNOW, THIS KID CAN NAME EVERY POEM IN THE WORLD. AND WE WOULD FEEL DUMBFOUNDED. IT WAS A YEAR AGO WHEN JACOB AND HIS FAMILY LEARNED SOMETHING WAS NOT QUITE RIGHT. HIS SPEECH STARTED SLURRING. OH, AND HE COULDN’T PLAY TENNIS WITH DAD IN MAY, WHICH WAS VERY ODD. AT 12 YEARS OLD, JACOB WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A VERY RARE FORM OF BRAIN CANCER. IT’S TERMINAL. A YEAR LATER, SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS AND FAMILY, HE IS SEEING HIS DREAM OF A GREENHOUSE COME TRUE IN HIS OWN BACKYARD. THROUGH JACOB’S JOURNEY, HE HAS SHOWN US HOW WE ARE BLESSED IN EVERY DAY BECAUSE GOD IS IN OUR LIVES EVERY DAY. JACOB’S DREAM FROM THE DREAM FACTORY WAS A GREENHOUSE, BUT HIS WISH IS FOR ALL TO ENJOY IT. HE IS LOOKING FORWARD TO BRINGING PEOPLE CLOSER TO GOD THROUGH HIS GREENHOUSE. JACOB COULD BE OUTSIDE TOO. Jacob Mann's Greenhouse is officially open. It's a dream come true for the 13-year-old, who has a rare form of cancer.A year ago, Jacob and his family noticed that he had started to slur his speech and was having balance issues. At 12 years old, Jacob was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. A year later, surrounded by friends and family, Jacob saw his dream of a greenhouse come to life in the backyard of the Mann family home, which is located outside of Kansas City.The Dream Factory, family, friends and the community came together to help make Jacob's dream come true. Centric Construction provided a team that helped build the dream greenhouse. Jacob's dream from the Dream Factory was a greenhouse, but his wish is for all to enjoy it. The greenhouse will be a place for family and friends to gather. Jacob's brother, Ethan, sees and feels Jacob throughout the greenhouse.
