TOMORROW GIVING TUESDAY. SO WE’VE GONE FROM SHOPPING TO A TIME NOW SET ASIDE TO SPARK THE SEASON OF GIVING. AND TONIGHT, WESH 2’S GAIL PASCHALL-BROWN TAKES A LOOK AT ONE NONPROFIT THAT IS MAKING A BIG DIFFERENCE. SUMMER MICHELLE. TOMORROW, MILLIONS OF AMERICANS WILL CELEBRATE GIVING TUESDAY IN A VARIETY OF WAYS, BE IT VOLUNTEERING TO DONATING HABITAT FOR HUMANITY, GREATER ORLANDO AND OSCEOLA COUNTY HOPES YOU WILL CONSIDER HELPING AN ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO HELPING OTHERS. ITS MISSION IS FOCUSED ON PROVIDING SAFE, AFFORDABLE HOMES FOR COMMUNITIES AND STRONGLY BELIEVES EVERYONE DESERVES A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE. NOW THE LOCAL NONPROFIT HAS BUILT, REPAIRED AND REHABBED MORE THAN 800 HOMES SINCE 1986. WE DON’T WE ARE FACING AN AFFORDABLE HOUSING CRISIS HERE IN CENTRAL FLORIDA AND HABITAT ORLANDO AND OSCEOLA. WE ARE REALLY TRYING TO TACKLE THE PROBLEM AND GET TO THE ROOT OF THE SYSTEMATIC ISSUES AND FUNDING AND GIVING ON GIVING. TUESDAY HELPS US DO THAT.
