The Buccaneers will take on the Dallas Cowboys in the annual Kickoff Game Thursday, Sept. 9. The Kickoff Game typically features the defending Super Bowl champion playing at home.
You can watch the game on WESH 2 – home of the Bucs.
The game pits teams who are expected to be strong playoff contenders against each other. After winning Super Bowl LV, the Buccaneers kept almost all their championship roster for another go at the championship through 2021.
On the field, Super Bowl LV MVP will likely face off with Cowboys’ quarterback Dak Prescott, who recovered from an ankle fracture last year. Brady is the most decorated quarterback in NFL history and gained his seventh Super Bowl ring after leading the Buccaneers to their second championship.
The Buccaneers 17-game schedule will drop Wednesday morning.
