Brianna Borghi

Reporter

Brianna Borghi is a general assignment reporter for WCVB’s NewsCenter 5. She was previously a reporter/anchor for Hearst-owned WPTZ-TV in Burlington, Vermont where she covered everything from politics to education to crime, along with unique feature stories. Prior to WPTZ-TV, Brianna worked at NBC’s TODAY and is an alumnus of NBCUniversal’s prestigious Page Program.

Brianna is a Massachusetts native and was raised in Dover. Eager to explore a new city, she attended George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with Special Honors in Journalism while earning her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the School of Media and Public Affairs with a minor in Political Science.

Brianna’s many internships took her to newsrooms from coast to coast with multiple networks. She worked with Dateline NBC in Los Angeles, MSNBC in New York City, and both the CBS Evening News and WRC-TV in Washington, D.C. where she had the opportunity to interview senators on Capitol Hill during the Brett Kavanaugh hearings. Brianna also interned with WCVB’s Chronicle.

Brianna is a coffee lover, theater buff, Bachelor & Bachelorette show enthusiast, and self-proclaimed food connoisseur. Off-air, you’ll find her exploring new dining and hot spots, enjoying the outdoors, and hunting down the next best bargain.
