Among the top honors, WCVB NewsCenter 5 won for both Best Newscast-Morning (Larger Markets) and Best Newscast-Evening (Larger Markets). This is the fourteenth time over the last seventeen years that NewsCenter 5 was recognized with the Best Newscast-Evening award. WCVB was also awarded an Emmy for its coverage of the 127th running of the Boston Marathon in the Live Sporting Event/Game category. This year’s honors mark the most Emmys WCVB has won in a decade.
