WCVB Receives More Awards than Any Other Station for Excellence in News, Digital Media, Public Service, Promotion, Commercial Production, and Localism

Boston – Friday, November 17, 2023 – WCVB Channel 5 received ten top honors last night at this year’s annual “Sound Bites Awards” presented by the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association (MBA). Winning seven First Place awards and three Merit awards, WCVB received more honors than any other station in Massachusetts and was recognized for its work in News, Digital Media, Public Service, Promotion, and Commercial Production, including top recognition for its commitment to localism with the #WeAreBroadcasters award. The distinguished honors were awarded to broadcast radio and television stations in nineteen categories last night at the Framingham Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center.
