LEOMINSTER, Mass. — Flash flooding left a path of destruction around North Central Massachusetts. Gov. Maura Healey issued a state of emergency following the "catastrophic flash flooding and property damage."The 10 inches of rain that fell over six hours in the Leominster area was a "200-year event," according to National Weather Service meteorologists. Here's how you can help the victims of the flash flooding:Leominster Flood Relief FundLeominster city officials are collaborating with the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts and United Way of North Central Massachusetts.Your donation will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $50,000.
