Honoring Massachusetts nurses during National Nurses Week

Honoring Massachusetts nurses during National Nurses Week
WHEN WE HIT 70 MARIA. ALL RIGHT, MIKE, FIVE FOR GOOD TONIGHT AND A STRONG SHOUT OUT TO ALL NURSES ACROSS MASSACHUSETTS. THIS NATIONAL NURSES WEEK. BUT A PARTICULAR NOD TO THE REGISTERED NURSES OF THE FOURTH FLOOR OF THE MICU, WHICH IS THE MEDICAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT AT THE VA MEDICAL CENTER WEST ROXBURY CAMPUS. THIS GROUP, THIS GREAT GROUP IN HONOR OF OUR VETERANS AND IN HONOR OF THEIR TRUE DEDICATION TO THEIR JOBS. THIS GROUP GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR THEIR VETERAN PATIENTS. THEY WORK IN THE ICU. IT CAN BE CHALLENGING AND THE CARE OF CRITICALLY ILL PATIENTS CAN BE EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY DEMANDING. BUT THESE NURSES YOU’RE LOOKING AT RIGHT HERE, THEY ALWAYS BRING THEIR EXPERTISE, THEIR DEEP COMPASSION AND PASSION. THEY EXEMPLIFY THE EYE CARE, VALUES, INTEGRITY, COMMITMENT, ADVOCACY, RESPECT AND EXCELLENCE WITH THE INCREDIBLE CARE THEY PROVIDE TO OUR NATION’S HEROES. THANKS TO THEM AND TO ALL NURSES, NOT JUST THIS WEEK, BUT EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE YEAR AND EVERY YEAR.
