Guillermo Rodriguez, the comedian best known as Jimmy Kimmel's late-night talk show sidekick on ABC, was on the parquet at the TD Garden Wednesday wearing a full Boston Celtics costume and asking colorful questions of the players. "There's so many players with color names," Guillermo observed to Mavericks guard Josh Green.As Guillermo observed, Jaylen Brown and Derrick White of the Boston Celtics also have colorful surnames. Guillermo went on to ask Green about his favorite crayon. The interview was part of the NBA Finals Media Day, during which players and coaches from both the Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics are made available to speak with reporters on Wednesday. The 2024 NBA Finals will begin June 6, with WCVB and ABC as the exclusive broadcaster. SportsCenter 5 pregame shows will precede each game.The Celtics are seeking their 18th title overall, which would break a tie with the Los Angeles Lakers for the most in NBA history, and their first championship since 2008.
