George Clooney, Ben Affleck spotted filming for 'The Tender Bar' in Ipswich Friday

George Clooney is directing and Massachusetts native Ben Affleck is starring in “The Tender Bar,” a drama adapted from the 2005 memoir by Pulitzer-winning author J.R. Moehringer. Based on the cheers and hugs seen Friday, it appears that filming for this movie in Massachusetts may be coming to an end.

Clooney, Affleck and other stars, including Lily Rabe, have been seen filming throughout the region over the past few weeks. They used the Harvard Club to shoot a Yale graduation scene, worked at the Wakefield Bowladrome and created a fictitious bar in Beverly, for example.

The production is expected to wrap this month.
