Teen killed in late night triple shooting in Louisville identified

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The teen killed in the triple shooting Sunday night has been identified by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.

Ali Almasri, 16, was killed in a shooting outside of a mosque that also injured two other teenagers.

Louisville Metro police officers were called on Sunday at about 11:30 p.m. to the Guiding Light Islamic Center on Six Mile Lane. They found two of the teenage victims there and another was later found on King’s Court in St. Matthews.

All three of the teens were taken to University of Louisville Hospital to be treated for their gunshot wounds.

Louisville Metro police confirmed Almasri died in the hospital, another is in critical condition, and the third one found in St. Matthews is recovering.
