Biden is the ‘historical anomaly’ for American work discipline: Tiana Lowe Doescher

President Joe Biden is the “historical anomaly” for not only presidents but all Americans when it comes to work discipline, Washington Examiner commentary writer Tiana Lowe Doescher said Friday.

Her comments follow reports that Biden told a group of Democratic governors who visited the White House this week that he should get more sleep and work fewer hours.

“All they want to see is proof of life after 4:00 p.m. Come out do an un-telepromtered press conference, right, take a couple candid remarks after 8:00 p.m., but he can’t do it. He won’t do it because he can’t,” she told Fox News’s America’s Newsroom.

Biden’s approach to his dismal debate debacle against former President Donald Trump is a prime example, according to Doescher.

“He wouldn’t start prep until 11:00 a.m. We know he was taking a nap during the middle of the day,” she said. “He keeps on trying to compare himself to prior presidents, saying that George W. Bush went to bed at 9:00 p.m. because he was in the Oval Office at 6:45 a.m. Obama left early to get dinner with his school-aged children, but he was working until midnight, and, we all know, President Trump sleeps four or five hours a night.”

She continued, “Biden is the historical anomaly not just for presidential work discipline but also for the ordinary Americans he represents. The average full-time worker works a 42-hour workweek. Biden can’t show his ability to be candid or off-script after certain times.”

Biden can function during scripted midday events, but when the president is alone after a certain hour, he cannot fend for himself, according to Doescher, and Democrats are now fully realizing the consequences.

“It’s sort of [The Emperor’s New Clothes] type situation,” she said. “They had deluded themselves into it’s right-wing propaganda. It’s not really happening. It’s a ‘cheap fake.’ Two weeks ago The New York Times was calling this cheap fake, and now, they all saw.”

“When Biden imploded, he didn’t just take down Democrat electoral prospects … he also blew up a lot of the credibility of his allies in the media because they had been covering for him. Was it willful, intentional, gaslighting? I don’t know, but, the point is, they saw the undeniable!”
