Beginning July 1, 2024, if your cash benefits are stolen from your EBT card through skimming, cloning or similar, fraudulent activity, you may be able to have some cash benefits replaced by making a claim.
Claims can be submitted in person in a Community Services Office, by calling the Customer Service Contact Center at 877-501-2233 or by submitting a DSHS Claim of Stolen EBT Benefits form (DSHS 27-221) by mail, fax or drop box within 30 days of discovering the theft. Home and Community Services customers should contact their assigned public benefits specialist. Developmental Disabilities Administration customers should call 855–873–0642.

Washington Connection can do a prescreening to see what programs or services you or your family may be qualified to receive from various State, Federal, or Local sources.
Enter in basic household information about your situation. Once completed a results page displays with programs that you might be qualified for.
This process takes approximately 15 minutes depending on your circumstances. This is not a guarantee of benefits but instead a guide to programs that you might be eligible to receive based on the answers provided. An application would be required to make a full determination.
Complete an online application for some programs offered by the Department of Social and Health Services, Department of Children, Youth and Families, and the Healthcare Authority.
This process takes about an hour depending on your household circumstances.
Once completed, an electronic copy is automatically sent to the appropriate agency for processing.

Complete an online renewal (or Eligibility Review) for current benefits that are due to expire soon.

Report a change in your household situation. This option is only for persons currently receiving benefits who wish to report a change.
Some examples of changes include:
- Starting a job
- Increase/Decrease in monthly income
- Increase/Decrease in shelter costs
- Someone moving into or out of the home
- Change in address
