Kennedi Cooper

Kennedi Cooper is from Jackson, Mississippi, and is thrilled to begin her journalism career in her hometown. She's excited about bringing the viewers breaking news and telling the stories of the people in the Jackson community and surrounding areas.

She’s a graduate of the University of Mississippi with an undergraduate degree in Journalism with an emphasis in TV & Video Storytelling and a minor in Political Science. #Hotty Toddy.

Kennedi has had a passion for writing, storytelling, and journalism since she was in high school. After graduating high school with honors and going on to Ole Miss, Kennedi worked as an anchor, and a reporter for the campus news show, “NewsWatch”. Entering her junior year, she was selected to be a part of the University of Mississippi Internship Experience, a year-long internship exploration program for rising juniors and seniors.

She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, whose mission is to be of “Service to All Mankind.” Her hobbies include dancing, shopping, going to different restaurants, meeting new people, and spending time with family and friends.
