Instagram user Ashleighmoneysaver found a number of the new beauty products at her local Aldi. She said the products are wallet-friendly alternatives to the Weleda Skin Food (£14.95), Elemis Superfood Glow Priming Moisturiser (£44) and the Elemis Superfood Cica Calm Hydration Juice (£44). Her video has been watched over 254,000 times, racking up 4,531 likes and 242 comments.

The Weleda Skin Food currently sells for £14.95 at Boots, and is a part of the retailer’s Love Island collection. The brand has been providing the contestants in the villa with a range of beauty and skincare products over the past few years as the show’s official partner.

It has a 4.7 out of five star rating from 3,228 reviews. TheresaM commented: “So luscious and smells divine. Like a thick butter that soaks into your skin.” Chanel said: “Good product. Good hydration. A gel based product like this would be great to buy for extra hydration below the skin barrier.”

However, Alisha wrote: “Really good for dry skin. Not good for oily skin as will break u out with big spots as it is such a thick oily cream. Can be used as a primer but doesn’t fill in your pores so is not that good. However it can be used b4 foundation to help make up to stick.”

All Stars’ star Molly Smith has been spotted using the Weleda Skin Food in the villa, and has been lauded by previous contestants, such as Molly-Mae Hague and Olivia Attwood. Amazon currently has an offer on the much-loved product, where it will set you back just £8.54.

Alternatively, you can get the The INKEY List Vitamin B, C and E Lightweight Daily Face Moisturiser to Keep Skin Healthy 50ml on Amazon for £7.98, the online retailer’s top choice. It has a 4.4 out of five star rating.
