Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan were back in the ITV studios together on Tuesday, May 14, although for different shows. Piers' return comes after he sensationally quit Good Morning Britain in 2021 after six years alongside Susanna.

Piers' exit came following a heated exchange with Alex Beresford about Meghan Markle and saw the presenter storm out of the studio on live television. However, earlier this week Piers revealed he would be back in the building to appear on ITV's Lorraine.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, he wrote: "UPDATE: I’m returning to ITV mornings! Well, for ten minutes anyway. I’ll be giving my first interview about our @PiersUncensored. Baby Reindeer scoop to BAFTA queen @reallorraine tomorrow morning. I may or may not wear a kilt."

And during the handover between GMB and Lorraine, the Scottish presenter said: "Mr Piers Morgan is in the building and he is here!" she added: "We've got Piers on, speaking many things, including of course Baby Reindeer."

Susanna replied: "That interview that Piers did with the woman allegedly the subject of that Netflix mega-hit, Baby Reindeer, was fascinating." She added: "I look forward to seeing Piers."

During his time in the ITV building, Piers took to social media a number of times. Referencing the viral moment he quit GMB, the presenter wrote: "Just walked past the @GMB studio and nearly stormed back IN!" followed by two laughing emoji faces.

He also took a selfie in a Loose Women mirror and wrote: "Let Loose in ITV again…" During his time on Lorraine, Piers spoke about his tell-all interview with the woman who is is allegedly the "real Martha" from the Netflix series Baby Reindeer.
