We're fortunate to have a major medical facility that provides lifesaving care just for children. I'm talking about Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital.
A quick trip to the hospital's Facebook page will give you a sense of the importance of this institution. The messages are simple – thank you for saving my child's life.
In the essence of a true partnership, South Louisiana supports Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital with many heart warming fundraising efforts that show just how much it means to our community.
WAFB Channel 9 is fortunate to be associated with one of these promotions, "Driving the Future." This campaign gives everyone a chance to make a donation to the hospital with the added benefit that five lucky donors will win luxury Lexus vehicles.
We're proud to do our part to provide lifesaving support for our children and we hope you'll join us in the cause.
