DEMCO linemen head to Texas to help with restoration efforts

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Linemen from the Capital Region are headed across state lines to help restore power to a Texas city that was impacted by a tornado.

According to DEMCO, crew members rolled out Tuesday morning, July 9, to provide mutual aid assistance to Panola Harrison co-op in Marshall, Texas. A tornado hit their service territory on Monday, July 8, causing significant damage.
