BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Police Department is asking the public for help identifying a person who allegedly robbed a gas station at gunpoint.

According to the Capital Region Crime Stoppers, the armed robbery happened around 3:20 a.m. on Monday, July 1, at the Race Trac gas station on Harding Boulevard.

Detectives said the suspected robber entered the store, displayed a gun to employees, took money from the cash register, and then fled the scene.

No one was injured, officials confirmed.
