Sportsline Summer Camp: The Istrouma Indians

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Istrouma Indians are entering year two under veteran head coach Sid Edwards. The Indians are coming off a solid 2023 that saw them earn six victories, including a first-round playoff triumph over Northside.
Still, Istrouma was far too up and down for their liking, as the 70805 strives for a much more consistent effort this season. Edwards and the Indians will look to utilize multi-talented weapon Kyree Paul, who is capable of making huge plays on offense, defense and special teams.
Defensively Istrouma is counting on leaders like Dyion Sanders and Jeremiah Coleman, as that group looks to aggressively attack opposing offenses this fall.
