Tractor-trailer carrying wastewater overturns in Central

CENTRAL, La. (WAFB) - A tractor-trailer carrying wastewater overturned in Central Monday afternoon, July 8.
The incident happened in the area of Hooper Road between Bridlewood Drive and Greenwell Springs Road.
Portions of the area were blocked off to drivers for multiple hours. However, as of 9 p.m., all roadways were back open.
Crews had to offload the wastewater. Police said that once that process was complete, the tractor-trailer was righted and removed from the roadway.
Police thanked members of the public for their patience.
According to the Central Fire Department, no injuries were reported.
