Louisiana unveils new ‘I Voted’ sticker featuring crawfish named “Mark de Ballot”
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The 2024 “I Voted” sticker, designed by an Academy Award-winning animator from Shreveport, was unveiled Monday, July 8 at at Louisiana’s Old Governor’s Mansion in Baton Rouge.
The artwork for this year’s sticker created by artist William Joyce and features a smiling crawfish wearing a top hat, a tuxedo jacket, and dress shoes. At the unveiling, the artist joked that the character’s name is “Mark de Ballot.”

Louisiana Secretary of State Nancy Landry showed off the brand-new stickers during an unveiling ceremony. The stickers will be handed out to voters when they cast ballots in the presidential election this November.
