BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Older drivers are invited to attend a free car educational safety program in Baton Rouge on Monday, July 8.

The Louisiana Passenger Safety Task Force and Buckle Up Louisiana are hosting the program, called CarFit, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Baton Rouge Police Department Headquarters in the parking garage on the 5th floor.

According to organizers, the program is offered to older drivers to ensure their cars are properly adjusted for them to fit in their car, which greatly increase driver safety.

Attendees do not have to make an appointment.
