BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Free summer math tutoring is being offered by Baton Rouge Community College.

The tutoring sessions are taking place at BRCC’s newly opened state-of-the-art math lab. It’s located in the Cypress Building at the mid city campus on Community College Drive.

Officials are hoping that the tutoring sessions and math lab will help set middle school, high school, and college students up for success.

“Our new mathematics lab is an immersive learning environment that bridges traditional classroom learning with the latest technology,” said BRCC Chancellor Dr. Willie E. Smith, Sr. “This lab will revolutionize math education and empower today’s students. I strongly encourage students and parents to take advantage of this no-cost program and benefit from our skilled instructors who are committed to improving math understanding and appreciation.”

There will be six weekly sessions that will run from Monday, June 24, through Thursday, July 25. The Monday-Thursday sessions will focus on algebra, trigonometry, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, business math, and more.
