NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Summers in Southeast Louisiana bring hot hot heat every year, but it’s also the time of year for spotty storms.

Although short, these spotty storms can be intense and bring about sudden surprises.

Drivers commuting from New Orleans and Slidell Friday (July 5) on the I-10 Twin Span Bridge were front-row audience members to double water spouts forming over Lake Pontchartrain.

The spouts formed after a quick thunderstorm and moved quickly before dissolving.
