“As the rate of drug-related crimes continues to rise across the nation, here in Livingston Parish we are taking a pro-active approach. In these particular cases, LPSO Detectives had to prove that an individual distributed or administered a particular controlled dangerous substance (CDS), which claimed someone’s life. That’s not easy. But, in these first cases for Livingston Parish, we have the proof required to move forward,” Sheriff Jason Ard said.

Freeze and Brown are currently in Livingston Parish Detention Center, and Young has been booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison, deputies added.
