WHITE CASTLE, La. (WAFB) - Veteran head coach Marc Brown is entering his fifth season as the head coach of the White Castle Bulldogs. The Bulldogs are getting some great spring work in, scrimmaging against three different schools, including 5A Scotlandville to prepare themselves for the 2024 season.

Javon Woods served as the team’s quarterback as a young freshman last year and is now hoping to take the next step as a more seasoned and experienced sophomore. There are offensive weapons like Shadrack Allen, Kylei Foster and Kardel Gales surrounding Woods to hopefully produce big plays and score points.

White Castle won 8 games last season, but a blow-out district loss to Ascension Catholic and likewise a beatdown in the second round of the playoffs at the hands of Welsh left a bad taste in the Bulldogs’ collective mouth.
