BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Episcopal Knights are stop number eight for Sportsline Summer Camp.

Travis Bourgeois is entering his 25th year as the team’s head coach. He has built a very successful program during that time period.

The Knights have definitely been getting their 7 on 7 work done in recent weeks, as Zach Hu leads the offense as a junior. Hu started at quarterback for the first time last season and is now hoping to make a big improvement from year one to year two. One big concern are the guys not participating in 7 on 7 – the offensive linemen. Coach Bourgeois says the Knights are thin and inexperienced at the line of scrimmage. But Episcopal doesn’t plan on making excuses. They instead have a standard to meet and hopefully exceed.

The Knights biggest loss from last season is probably electric running back and Sportsline Player of the Year finalist Braeden George, who has now moved on to the US Naval Academy. But eager to fill in and prove he can shoulder the load is senior Reid Chauvin. Chauvin is no stranger to the end zone or the weight room, recently setting three Division IV state powerlifting records.
