Sportsline Summer Camp: The Plaquemine Green Devils

PLAQUEMINE, La. (WAFB) - Year one of Plaquemine Football under Donald Williams was very strong. The Green Devils posted a 9-3 record, earned a share of the district title with West Feliciana, and won a playoff game over Albany. How can Plaquemine accomplish more in 2024 with a roster stacked with experienced talent?

“Consistency. Being able to do good things, put it behind us and do another good thing. Year one was something to build on. Lots of ups, lots of downs. We were a young team, but I think the main focus was to get the guys to understand the importance of consistency. We got to keep climbing,” Donald Williams said.

The Green Devils open their season with a pair of challenges in Zachary and Scotlandville.
