DONALDSONVILLE, La. (WAFB) - The Ascension Parish School Board will meet on Tuesday, June 4 to discuss rolling forward existing millage rates.
Officials say reassessments typically occur every four years, and they can lead to higher property values, which in turn generate more revenue if the millage rate itself remains unchanged.
The public is invited to attend.
The board will meet at 6:15 p.m. at the Ascension Parish School Board building in Donaldsonville.
