Meet unique artists, experience live music and more during Mid-City’s Hot Art, Cool Nights

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Baton Rouge’s largest spring art festival is returning to Mid-City on Friday, May 10.

Hot Art, Cool Nights is a free event that brings artists, creators, musicians and more to one location for the entire city and surrounding areas to enjoy.

From 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., you can eat, drink, shop, listen to live music, learn about unique businesses and support local vendors.

The festival happens annually and is always the Friday of Mother’s Day weekend. It’s put on by Mid City Merchants.

The one-of-a-kind event starts at the intersection of Jefferson Hwy. and Goodwood Blvd. and continues down Government Street to the intersection of Government and 14th Streets.

Some of the businesses that will be participating in HACN are Elizabethan Gallery, Reginelli’s Pizzeria, Superior Bar & Grill, Spoke & Hub, Frameworks Gallery, Family and Youth Service Center, Rocca Pizzeria, DIY Disco, Pelican to Mars, Fleurty Girl, MJ’s Café, Red Stick Spice Company, Caked Up and a Local Pop-Up Market.
