Thomas made a huge jump statistically this past season with the Tigers, going from 361 yards receiving and 5 touchdowns in 2022, to 1,177 yards receiving and 17 TDs in 2023.
The 6′4, 205 pounder likewise didn’t hurt himself at the NFL combine, running a blazing 4.33 in the 40-yard dash.
Thomas was also a basketball star in high school, helping the Wildcats win a 5A state championship as a freshman in 2018 and was named the MVP in the win over Landry-Walker with 20 points and 8 rebounds. As a sophomore, he scored 29 points and had 8 rebounds in a loss to Thibodaux High School in the 2019 5A state championship.
