Driving the Future 2024 campaign to benefit OLOLCH
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Driving the Future campaign with Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital is returning for its 14th year in 2024.
Last year’s raffle raised over $1.2 million going toward new technologies like the 3T MRI. It gives doctors enhanced image quality, greater visualization of the brain and spine, and a 75% reduction in scan time.
In total, Driving the Future has raised over $13.5 million for OLOLCH in the last 13 years to expand services inside for patients. The raffle has given away 65 cars to 65 winners.
Folks at home can buy $50 Driving the Future tickets at ololchildrens.org/drive or by calling 215-0050. You can also dial 855-295-KIDS (5437) for a chance to win one of five silver Lexus vehicles. All proceeds benefit the children’s hospital.
The vehicles include:
- Lexus RX (SUV)
- Lexus NX (SUV)
- Lexus UX (Crossover)
- Lexus ES (4-door Sedan)
- Lexus IS (4-door Sedan)
The drawing is on May 23 and will be live on WAFB at 5 p.m.
The Early Bird drawing to win a $5,000 cash prize is happening Mar. 6 through Apr. 3. The cash drawing is April 17.
